Social and Digital Media Client Questionnaire

DISCOVERY QUESTIONNAIRE

This questionnaire is part of your onboarding as a Fifteen East Media Group client. It is not an evaluation and there are no wrong answers — its only purpose is to give our team the operational detail we need to build your social and digital strategy accurately the first time, without a long discovery period billed against your engagement.

Approvals

Who holds final approval authority over published social content? Please explain how approvals will route.

Does any content require review by the Board, a funder, or an outside party before it is posted? If so, which categories of content and by whom?

Account Access and Ownership

List every social, digital, and web property associated with the Theater, including any dormant, duplicate, or legacy accounts you are aware of. Include handles and URLs.

For each account, who currently holds administrator or owner access? Please note any account controlled by a former staff member, board member, volunteer, or prior vendor.

Are your Facebook and Instagram accounts connected through a Meta Business Manager account owned by the Theater, or are they administered from an individual's personal profile?

Does the Theater have an active advertising account on any platform? If so, what payment method is attached and who controls it?

Who administers the website, and what platform is it built on? Who can publish changes?

Is Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking installed on the website? If so, who has access?

Does the Theater have a Google Business Profile, and is it claimed and verified?

What email marketing platform do you use, how large is the list, and who has access? Also when is the last time you've done an email marketing campaign?

Current Performance Baseline

Current follower or subscriber count for each active platform, as of the date you complete this form.

Which posts from the past twelve months performed best, and which underperformed? Please link or describe if you can.

Who has been producing content to date — staff, a volunteer, an intern, a vendor — and roughly how many hours per week has it taken?

What has been posted most consistently, and what has fallen off? Be candid; this helps us set a realistic cadence.

Have you run paid social or digital advertising before? What was spent, on what, and what happened?

Audience

Describe your current audience as you actually observe it — who is in the seats, not who you hope will be.

Which audience are we being asked to grow: Camden residents, regional South Jersey and Philadelphia theatergoers, subscribers, first-time attendees, students and families, donors, or another group? If more than one, please rank them.

What is the split between subscribers or repeat attendees and single-ticket buyers, if known?

Which community organizations, congregations, schools, or civic partners does the Theater already have relationships with?

Are there audiences you have historically struggled to reach, and do you have a sense of why?

Rights and Permissions

Do you have signed image and likeness releases from cast, creative team, staff, and audience members? If not, what is the process for obtaining them?

Who is your production photographer and videographer, who owns that work, and what are the usage terms?

Brand, Voice and Assets

Does the Theater have written brand guidelines, a logo file library, approved fonts, and color codes? If so, how will they be shared with us?

Where do your existing photo and video assets live, and how will our team access them?

In three to five words, how should the Theater sound on social media? Now name one organization whose voice you admire and one you would not want to sound like.

Capacity

What does your staff realistically have capacity to contribute — capturing photos and video at rehearsals and events, supplying information, coordinating with cast?

Budget

Social media management is a service distinct from the scope in our current agreement. Is the Theater interested in adding ongoing social media management, and if so, has a budget been identified or approved for it?

If a budget has been approved, what is the monthly or annual amount, and who authorized it? If a range is all you have at this stage, please give the range.

What is the Theater's fiscal year, and what month does it begin?

What is your anticipated paid advertising spend — meaning the dollars paid to Meta, Google, or other platforms — broken out by quarter of your fiscal year? Estimates are fine.

Who holds the payment method for advertising, and who must approve each spend before it is placed?
